Discovery Atlántico is our classic Nissan Vanette, blue like the Atlantic around the island, and ready for two people to explore Tenerife at their own pace. You pick it up at our base in San Miguel de Abona, about 10 minutes from Tenerife South airport, and every night you sleep in front of a different view.

A classic campervan, compact and easy to drive

It's a modestly sized van: it fits along the narrow coastal roads and into village car parks, and it's nothing like a big motorhome. Its 2.3 diesel 75 hp engine is simple and reliable, and the gearbox is manual. It's designed for tarmac roads, so we recommend avoiding forest tracks and dirt roads in poor condition. There's no wifi: the perfect excuse to switch off for a few days.

The bed is at the back, next to a kitchen unit with drawers where the kitchenware is stored. When you get back from the beach, the outdoor shower rinses off the salt before you set out the table and chairs and cook dinner in the open air.

Discovery Atlántico currently has a web promo price: €49 per night + 7% IGIC (≈ €52.43), all year round. 10% off for a full week (7 nights), not combinable with VUELVE10. Prices are per night and exclude IGIC (7%).
